Waiting for the Man

December 24th, 2010

I just wanted to wish all of you a very, Merry Christmas.  I have been cooking up a storm (in fact I am taking a break but am about to do some more Fruit Mince Tarts and Gingerbread) and will probably not be able to eat anything tomorrow because I have been slaving over it all for three solid days.  The ham is baked, the turkey stuffed and cooked and the Linzer Torte is rolled, baked and cooled all in readiness for the festivities to begin.   I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow whatever it is that you have planned.

I have been blogging now for 8 months and I wanted to say thanks for all your support, comments, help and feedback – I just so appreciate it.  My mother said to me today that I am a writer now – and I guess in a way I am – but I really just consider it like a chat with friends.  And thank you for listening and being there.

So I hope you all have a great day tomorrow and that the Man (you know, the one in the red suit) gives you your heart’s desire. Take it away Perry…

welcome
