The Things We Do For Love

November 26th, 2010

I have spent many an afternoon watching BMX videos.  Now although they are not something I would seek out necessarily (hence “The Things We Do For Love” title to this post) you’ve got to admit that these riders are pretty amazing.  They will just throw themselves again and again at walls, down rails, over fences all the while managing to make it all look effortless and super, super cool.  And as much as I may roll my eyes when another video is slammed into the machine, I have great respect for them because I know, in my heart of hearts, that I would rather stick a fork in my eye than do that to myself.  That being said Jason has a bit of a history with BMX (Redline Series 3 with Red Skyway Tuffs anyone?) and when given any opportunity he will grab his gear and race over to some abandoned lot or school or drain to take pictures.  And these pictures are pretty cool don’t you think?  NOTHING like those dorks on BMX Bandits hey?  Puts those nancy boys to shame!  And what about all that safety gear – I mean jeez, how weak can you get!!  Nowadays they don’t even wear a helmet.

And kids, if you are going to try this at home, don’t forget to give Jason a call!

welcome
