Brisbane Wedding Photography – Kelso + Sepi

April 11th, 2011

When we met with Kelsey and Sepi they were the kind of clients you can only dream about – interested in photography, as much location time as possible, happy to go to anywhere, up for anything  – I mean seriously, what more could you ask for?   It makes for a great day and the photos prove it.  I often think that the location time you spend with your new husband on your wedding day is the best time of the day – no guests to distract you, no family to please, just the two of you.  You actually have a little bit of time to talk, giggle about the day’s events and feel what it feels like to be married.  It is pretty much the only time on your wedding day that you get to be on your own.  Thanks guys for letting us in on your journey and for being great clients.  We hope you enjoy these photos – oh and of course, your life together!

I love how Jason makes the dirtiest, grungiest places look beautiful – the man has a gift!

Mt Tambourine Wedding Photography – Gavin + Carly

April 4th, 2011

While I was slaving away at the Queensland Brides Bridal Expo on the weekend (lemon sherbert bombs anyone???) Jason was shooting Gavin and Carly’s beautiful wedding at Mount Tambourine.  Their ceremony was at Avalon Gardens and reception at Songbirds Restaurant.  It is really beautiful there and so so lush after all this rain – it is nice to see some photos with every shade of green again, don’t you think?  One of the great parts about our job is watching the couple interact when they see their photos for the first time – and for both the Bride and Groom – it is the first time they see what the other was doing when they were getting ready.  While Carly was pampering and preening with her bridesmaids, Gavin was sharing the lunch of champions – ham and cheese toasties, cheezels (a personal favourite of mine and a serious rival to the much lauded twistie) and scotch on the rocks!  We hope you enjoy this little slice of your lovely wedding day guys!  Enjoy your honeymoon!!  We’ll break out a box of cheezels for you when we see you next.

Waiting…waiting…waiting…

A beautiful portrait by Matt Leasegang.

welcome
