Gold Coast Wedding Photography – Joel + Kate

August 13th, 2012

I’m so sorry that I have been a bit slack in posting here for the last few weeks.  I have been deep in Olympic watching craziness – not getting any sleep, watching through the night, eating junk food because I can’t tear myself away to cook, stressing and yelling at the television through every event – just the usual.  Didn’t GB do a great, great job?  I have loved every minute of it!!!  All I can say is thank goodness it only happens every four years – I don’t know if I could take any more than that.  So in keeping with the sporting theme today I give you Joel and Kate’s wedding.  I’m sure Andy Murray would love these pics!  Let’s hope he leaves us a comment.  I mean, of course Andy Murray is reading this post!!!  But it does beg the question which would you prefer: an Olympic gold medal or a Wimbledon trophy?

Brisbane Wedding Photography – Anthony + Tamara

August 2nd, 2012

With only a few short weeks before the next big wave of weddings, I felt it was time to reflect on what weddings really mean.  Of course there is the fact that they are a declaration of enduring love and a promise made by two people to be there for each other in thick and thin.  But it is also a ritual of great importance.  I guess that is why we take our job so seriously – we know how important it is to get it right!  One thing that really struck me when I was looking through the photographs of Anthony and Tamara’s wedding was the realisation that children really understand the importance too.  They are in awe fo a bride in her wedding dress and veil, the flowers and dresses, the church with all its beauty and ceremony.  I mean, it is stuff of fairytales which is something all children hold dear to their hearts.  Anthony and Tamara’s wedding was full of children showing us their joy, excitement, wonder and awe.  It brings you back to the real meaning of weddings and how amazing it really is – to find that special person who you want to be with forever.

welcome
