DJ Kleenkutt is back today with a list of songs for your first dance.  Not your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill, love songs mind you – these offer an alternative, a better alternative.  I love each of these songs (except the Bob Marley song but that is because for the better part of a year a Bob Marley cassette (actually a cassingle but I wasn’t sure anyone would know what I was talking about anymore) was stuck in my girlfriend’s car radio and every morning while we drove to aerobics I heard this song.  Right before I ran around a gym, waving my arms up and down and doing like, a thousand crunches, and then after it was all over, we would listen to the same song again while driving home.  You get the picture right?  It reminds me of feeling very, very, VERY ill…But Madness – I mean MADNESS, as your first dance song, that has got to give you some serious street cred.  Listen and enjoy – as always when DJ Kleenkutt is at the wheel the ride is made that much better.

Brisbane Wedding Photography – Nick + Peta

May 7th, 2013

I am in love with these photographs.  From the raucous merriment had by the groom and his groomsmen, to the stunning, breathtaking beauty of the bride and her bridesmaids, add in a moving and loving ceremony, fun, laughter and joy during the location and finally late-into-the-night, crazy disco dancing and you’ve got the BEST WEDDING EVER.  No balloons, no bunting, no mason jars.  Just the union of two people in love, and the joy that that union creates.  There is really is nothing more to say.  Every picture tells a story – and this, my friends, is a love story, proper and true.

Peta’s stunning dress was made by Paddington Weddings. I love its old Hollywood glamour.

The best man’s speech was less of a speech and more like a roasting.  Lucky Nick took it all in his stride.  The groomsmen even decorated the tables with embarrassing photographs of Nick for guests…how sweet!

welcome
