Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.  They symbolise true love to me – 50 years of marriage and not one single whiff of a scandal.  And this was in Hollywood where scandal and multiple marriages were a right of passage.  Every photo I found of the two of them shows him looking at her with such great admiration and delight – it almost makes you feel like you are intruding somehow.   His statement about infidelity “Why go out for a hamburger when you have steak at home? ” sums it up really.  She is by far the best steak in town.
