There are some things you can never get wrong: avocado on toast for breakfast, a cold beer on a hot day and going classic Audrey Hepburn style at your wedding. Sharni and James did just that – channeling Ms Hepburn herself with a nod to the always fabulous Sinatra era, Sharni and James had a wedding that screamed simple elegant timeless stunning. This wedding was so super fabulous that it has already been broadcast on the ever popular Ms Polka Dot Bride website and it was also showcased by those incredible planning gurus white+white weddings and events on their website, which means I won’t interrupt your oohs and aahs with all of the details – check out the other posts for that. Michael + Licia

Hello everybody! Have I got a wedding for you today! The beautiful Licia and married the handsome Michael on a lovely, sunny day in May. Nothing like this drizzly, cold, wet weather we have today, no sirree! Look how that sun shines!!! Blue skies! I’ve forgotten what it looks like. SIGH. But I digress. Michael and Licia’s wedding day was such a wonderful and warm affair, the ceremony at the gorgeous All Hallows’ Chapel (with that amazing view) followed by their reception at the stunning, classic Customs House. I really do so love daytime weddings. It gives you more time to spend with your family and friends and it makes the day seem longer somehow. All too often, we hear couples complain that the day went by so fast, in a blur, and that they didn’t get a chance to catch their breath and enjoy it! But when you have an early ceremony and reception the party just goes for twice as long. Licia and Michael, thank you for choosing us and trusting us to capture such a beautiful day!
