Brisbane Wedding Photography – Chris + Rebecca

July 5th, 2012

I’m going to let you in on a little secret so huddle up…the hands-down, best part about weddings, you know, the thing that keeps Jason shooting them for as long as he has, is the unbelievable breadth of emotion experienced on the day.  From happiness, to excitement, to trepidation, to love, to joy, to laughter, to jump-in-the-air fun – it is all there – in spades – on your wedding day.  For Chris and Rebecca, it was written all over their faces.  And that is what makes for great, great photographs and a great, great wedding.  Take, for instance, Rebecca’s unbridled excitement at putting on her wedding dress…

And, as expected a man’s gentle bewilderment, trying not to  get in the way and also overflowing with love at watching her take this next step into marriage…

To those giddy moments as you are preparing to leave for the church…

To the manly pride and happiness at knowing you have met your match, your soul mate…

Taking that next step…

And all of a sudden the time has arrived, itis here, there you are saying those vows, making those promises…

With all your family and friends bearing witness, lifting you up…

Now husband and wife…

A relaxed, easy manner replaces nerves – and joy begins to bubbles over…

And love, oh – so much love…

And then, they danced…

And laughed…

And danced some more…

When Grandma hits the floor you know you are having a seriously good time!

Congratulations Chris and Rebecca!  May the light of your wedding day always fill you up and keep you warm!

Jason was lucky enough to be assisted on this wedding by Evan from Ryder Evans Photography.  A number of shots above are his – thanks Evan – and he is awesome so check out is work.

Gold Coast Hinterland Wedding Photography – Nick + Nicole

June 20th, 2012

We are the luckiest people in the WORLD.  I know, I know, a lot of people say that and think they mean it, but I am here to tell you that they are indeed wrong and that we are the luckiest by a million miles!  Need proof?  Here goes.  Not only do we get super-lovely-wonderful-nice clients like Nick and Nicole who have been so, so awesome to work with and to photograph – they are perfect, it is true.  Then Jason gets to shoot their gorgeous wedding at the beautiful, picturesque Cedar Creek Winery and its surrounds on one of those perfect sunny crisp autumn days that only Queensland can offer.  And now we are getting a fireplace installed!!!!  Seriously  – are you with me or are you with me?  Nick and Nicole thank you for choosing us and for being THE BEST.  We are so honoured to be a part of your wedding day.  Thank you.  So now the competition for the luckiest people is official over.  Move on people, move on.

See what I mean about the day???  How beautiful is this!

welcome
