Brisbane Wedding Photography – Jeff + Amanda

November 29th, 2010

Elegant and timeless – with a cracking dash of colour – that is what I see when I look at Jeff and Amanda.  They sure do look like they are having a blast – and at the end of the day, that is what you want to be having on the best day of your life!  All that planning and stress just melts away once you say “I do”.  The portraits that Jason shoots before the ceremony and then after the ceremony show just that – endless love and an overwhelming relief that it all went well.  I know you all don’t really want me to say this but sometimes it is the little mishaps – the fumbled lines, the accidental trips, the weeping – that you remember the most and become the memorable stories from your day.  Ask your mum and dad or your grandparents and I’ll bet they have a story or two about someone locking the keys in the car or the bride’s shoe breaking as she got out of the car or the best man barely alive from a major night out the night before.  It is these things that you can laugh about and become woven into the folklore that is your wedding day.  So today I give you Jeff and Amanda – I wonder what their stories will be?

I am a major sucker for a dog portrait – I’m sure there is a post in here somewhere!

Oh yeah and Amanda’s Dad wrote and performed this song for her – I would have been a weeping mess if my Dad had done this for me.  How beautiful!

welcome
