Gimme an E…T…S…Y

October 21st, 2010

After pouring over Jacob and Laura’s wedding photographs I thought I would have a shop through Etsy to see if I could find some things you all might be interested in.  I’m not sure if you know about Etsy but it is a marketplace for handmade things direct from the producers to you.  There is a wedding section which make finding things a whole lot easier but I thought I could make it a bit of a regular thing to show you what beautiful things I find.

Laura had these pom poms over the tables at her wedding and I just loved them.  (I have tried to make these in the past but they never seem to get fully round – I believe there really is an art to it and one I have no ability to master!).  I love these pom poms so much that I am thinking about getting some and hanging them in our bedroom.  They look like billowy clouds – very enchanting.  You can buy them in packs of ten for $US30 and with the Australian dollar almost one for one that is a steal.  You can select your own colours and they have a great variety and there is a colour chart online.  I love the  idea of all one colour and an over abundance of them so you feel like you are literally in the clouds – and how fitting to feel that way on your wedding day.  If you are interested go here.

welcome
