I only just realised that I haven’t posted anything of our engagement portraits!  The wedding always seems such a big event (and it is, don’t get me wrong) but your engagement, well that is a pretty special time.  I remember when we got engaged all people kept asking was “so, when are you getting married?” and all I really wanted was to feel engaged.  Especially since it took me forever (and a whole lot of bad boyfriends to which my girlfriends and my liver can attest) to find Jason, I just wanted to sit still in that place and feel really, really happy. To feel the weight of a lifetime love and sink into it – if you know what I mean?

That is what I see when I look at these faces – and Rob and Rebecca capture that feeling beautifully.  All the promise of a life together without any of the stress that a wedding day can sometimes hold.  Love, love, love…wah-wah-wahwahwah…all you need is love, love…love is all you need.
