Rock the Colour Block

June 23rd, 2010

I brought these Vera Wang dresses together because I love the two tone colour blocking and the righteous statement they would make as bridesmaids’ dresses.  I was recently at the “Your Local Wedding Guide” bridal expo (shout out to everyone who visited me) and lots of brides-to-be stopped by – firstly to have a look at our lovely albums and “talk shop” but secondly to check out the colour schemes and theming of other real life brides.  (I remember when I was a bride I couldn’t get enough of other brides’ stories!!)  As far as bridesmaid dresses go, I think these colour blocked ones would make a great statement and are very fashionable right now.  I love how striking they are and also how they could be colour coordinated with the bride through a matching sash, bouquet or (for your more adventurous bride) shoes.   I will continue to post more real life details – flowers, shoes, table settings, cakes, etc – if Jason could just stay still long enough to pull together some real life photos for me!!!

welcome
