Food for Thought

July 12th, 2013

Jason and I were lucky enough to do a quick and fun food shoot with the fantastic team at Moda Events Portside.  Not only did we get to take some great shots of their amazing food, we also got to eat a whole ton of it too!  These bad boys here, gone in 60 seconds.  Like, I’m amazed we even got a photograph of them….and there were fights over the last one.  I’m still not sure if Jason is actually speaking to me…

Michael + Licia

July 1st, 2013

Hello everybody!  Have I got a wedding for you today!  The beautiful Licia and married the handsome Michael on a lovely, sunny day in May.  Nothing like this drizzly, cold, wet weather we have today, no sirree!  Look how that sun shines!!!  Blue skies!  I’ve forgotten what it looks like.  SIGH.  But I digress.  Michael and Licia’s wedding day was such a wonderful and warm affair, the ceremony at the gorgeous All Hallows’ Chapel (with that amazing view) followed by their reception at the stunning, classic Customs House.  I really do so love daytime weddings.  It gives you more time to spend with your family and friends and it makes the day seem longer somehow.  All too often, we hear couples complain that the day went by so fast, in a blur, and that they didn’t get a chance to catch their breath and enjoy it!  But when you have an early ceremony and reception the party just goes for twice as long.  Licia and Michael, thank you for choosing us and trusting us to capture such a beautiful day!

welcome
