Liam + Kim

September 12th, 2011

Wikipedia – the font of all knowledge these days (poor Oxford!) – states that happiness is a mental state of wellbeing characterised by positive emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.  And I’m sure you will agree looking at these photos, that both Liam and Kim were definitely at the ‘intense joy’ stage of happiness for every single moment of their wedding day.  I mean, seriously – just look at them?  Happiness is literally shining off their faces like sunlight!!!  I have been sitting here editing their photos for the last hour smiling back at them (and, to be honest, looking pretty foolish grinning like a Cheshire cat, all alone, at a computer screen.  Oh dear.)  In fact it seemed that the whole universe was experiencing ‘intense joy’ because just as Liam and Kim said, “I do”, the sun came out from behind the clouds and shone its little heart out for the rest of the day.  Liam and Kim, I think we should link this page to Wikipedia as the perfect example of happiness?  I have no idea how to do that but it can’t be that hard now can it?  So, who’s with me?

Flower Girls

September 9th, 2011

I have been a long time reader of Jen’s Style Milk Blog and was super excited to learn that she recently opened a shop offering really beautiful and stylish clothes for children and adults alike.  I bought this great Arabella Ramsay dress which I love, love LOVE.  It is stylish and comfortable and I pair it with my Swedish Hasbeens that will be making a major comeback now that the weather is warmer.  But, as usual, I digress.  I was recently stalking browsing the Style Milk Shop and it dawned on me (you know – that lightbulb moment) that Jen has some really great things available that would make perfect flower girl outfits.  Most flower girls’ outfits look stiff and uncomfortable – more likely to be seen at a boring piano recital or grandma’s 80th birthday than a stylish and glamourous wedding.  Seriously how cute are these tulle creations?  They look so light and comfortable but still TOTALLY princess bride!  You can just imagine them swirling and twirling – so much fun!  If you are looking for something a little bit different, with oodles of style, I would highly recommend that you pop over to the Style Milk Shop and grab one of these for the littlest member of your bridal party.  I can only say that I am totally bummed that they don’t come in my size…

welcome
