Jason recently went away for a “drink your own urine” trip with one of his good mates, Stuart, on some mountain in Victoria. I started calling these types of trips (you know, the ones where Jason straps his life on his back and heads off into the untamed wilderness with nothing but his wits and good looks) “drinking your own urine” because as far as I was concerned that is what the boys are doing while “communing” with nature.

I can’t really think of anything worse – no internet, no toilet, no hot water – you wouldn’t catch me doing it if my life depended on it. The “drink your own urine” line was always kind of an ‘in joke’ until I saw this on Bear Grylls. It seems I might have hit the mark…

I have been racking my brain to find new ways to talk about all these lovely wedding photos (finally Jason has dug himself out from under his mountain of work and has been able to give me some to show you all). I do agree that the photos speak for themselves but what else would you like to know? I am thinking that an overview of the suppliers would be good – I know when I was planning our wedding I LOVED looking at real weddings to get ideas and to see what other brides were doing. This was the sole reason I bought the bridal magazines!!! Is this something you guys are interested in? If so I will get back to you with the vitals – dress, flowers, hair, makeup, suits, ceremony and reception venues. Let me know if I am missing anything.
